Appearance - Inquiry Design Fundamental
In this section, you will learn to use the Appearance - Inquiry Design module. Inquiry Design enables you to design the appearance of your Inquiries, which connects to Inquiries modules.
Now that you have learned the fundamental idea, this guide will walk you through the Inquiry Design module.
1 Design Settings
- 1 Design Settings [Desktop | Tablet | Mobile]. The fields in this section enable you to change the Design for how your Inquiry appears. The icons on the right enable you to toggle between Settings for different devices. Whether you’re setting up for Desktop, Tablet, or Mobile, each template must be set up separately.
- 2 Design [Empty | Logo | Image]. This field enables you to toggle between Design Settings, including an Empty design with no image, a design with a Logo, and a design with an Image.
- 3 Color. This field enables you to select the Color that surrounds your Logo, as a background, in your Inquiry.
- 4 [Logo | Image]. This field enables you to select the Logo or Image to be used in your Inquiry Design.
- Browse. Click the Browse button to navigate to the Logo or Image that you would like to Upload to your Inquiry Design.
- Save. Click this button to Save the Inquiry Design Settings selected in the previous fields and move on to the next section (Extra Fields).
(2) Extra Fields
In this section, you will learn how to add Extra Fields to Inquiry Design. These allow you to collect information from your visitors for categories not included in the default database.
- 1 + New. Click this button to open a window prompting you to start a New Field (to be covered below).
- Field Name. In this field, Enter Name for your New Field.
- Field Type. In this field, Select Type of Field from two options: Input (example) and Drop Down (example).
- Status. In this field, choose whether you want the Status of your New Field to be On or Off.
- Required. In this field, select whether you want this Field Status to be Required.
- Save. Click this button to Save the above settings.
- 2 Company [On | Off]. This is a default Extra Field provided as an example. Click On or Off to choose whether or not to activate the Field.
- 3 Update Settings. Click this button to Update Settings with the above changes.
