Breadcrumb path: Sales and Orders / Manage Orders / Select an Order
It is recommended that you read the Manage Orders article, as this article covers the special topic of managing orders that use FedEx tracking.
Go to the Orders Manager module and select an order you wish to add FedEx Tracking to.
Go to the Manage Order Status section and select the Order Status drop-down menu. Click on Use FedEx option from the drop-down menu.
Add the FedEx Tracking Number to the Tracking Number field in the Manage Order Status Section. Click the Save Order Status button to save the Tracking Number to the order.
Once the Tracking Number is saved, the Order will now receive updates from FedEx and will send automated email updates to the Customer.
When FedEx updates an order, the FedEx Status will update. An automated email will be sent to the customer.
Clicking the Send Status Email button will resend the current FedEx Status email to the customer. This will be the same information as the automated email that was sent to the customer initially.
Clicking the Status Change History button will open a pop-up that will display the status history of the selected order.
User: This column shows the user making the status change. In this case, it would be the FedEx Webhook service sending a status change for the Build Website to update.
Status: This column displays the FedEx Tracking Status.
Date: This column displays the date of the status update.
Details: This column displays the FedEx Tracking Details that are received.
In the Orders Manager Section, the Order Status column will display the FedEx status rather than the native Build status.
When the FedEx Order Status updates to Delivered, the order can be considered complete.
Now that you have learned how to Manage a FedEx Shipped Order, this completes the section of the user manual.
