You can access this page by clicking on Pages from the main menu, and Page Builders from the dropdown menu. Then select the Diamonds Search Page Builder module from the available builders.
Diamonds Search Page Builder Fundamental
In this section, you will learn how to use the Diamonds Search Page Builder module. This is our versatile, content-building software that allows you to easily and efficiently create your own pages. This module will enable users to set up a diamond search on their webpage. This allows site visitors to search and filter for diamonds according to various criteria.
Here is an example of a completed page built using the Diamonds Search Page Builder:
Now that you have learned the fundamental and seen an example of the finished product, follow the guide below to learn how to use the Diamonds Search Page Builder.
- ● 1 Diamonds Search Page Builder. This module allows you to build a static page using our custom interface.
- ● 2 Page name. In this field, enter a Page name for the page you would like to build using the Diamonds Search Page Builder.
- ● 3 Add Page. Click here when you are ready to begin. The following dialog box will appear.
- ● 1 Manage Page. Click here to open the Diamonds Search Page Builder application and continue with the process of creating your page.
Diamond Search Page Builder
- At the top of the Diamond Search landing page, the title you entered in the previous window will be displayed as Edit - Title.
The Diamonds Search Page Builder is then split into five sections that will be covered in the guide below:

(1) Settings
In the upper right corner of the screen, you can click View Page to see how the Page appears in its present form or you can click the Help? Button to access the user manual for this module.
- ● 1 [On | Off]. This control enables you to turn the following settings On or Off.
- ● 2 Source: RAPNET / VDB / LOCAL. This dropdown enables you to choose the Source for your diamonds. You can select Local or either of the diamond marketplaces, RAPNET and VDB. This Source will be used for the Diamond Search Page.
- You can set up Sources from the Diamonds modules listed in the main menu.
- ● 3 Images from: [Vendor | Placeholder | Vendor + Placeholder]. This control enables you to choose whether to display only Vendor images, only Placeholder images, or both Vendor + Placeholder images.
- ● 4 Type: [Mix | Lab Grown | Natural Earth Diamond]. This setting controls whether the Diamond is Lab Grown, Natural Earth, or a Mix.
- ● 5 Includes: LOCAL Data / FTP Data / Laravo (POS Data) / Laravo (Brand Data. These checkboxes allow you to select additional Sources to Include on your Diamond Search Page.
- ● Save. Click this button to Save your Settings and ensure they are updated as you move into the next sections.
- ● 1 Vendor images are real photographs of the actual product, sourced directly from the vendor. Selecting this option will only display Vendor images, and will show “NO IMAGE” if no vendor images are available.
- ● 2 Placeholder images are imitation photographs that match the shape and style of the product, but are not true to life photos from the vendor. These are useful when a Vendor image is not available. Selecting this option will only display Placeholder images.
- ● 1 + ● 2 Vendor + Placeholder is an option that allows you to display Vendor images when available, and Placeholder images when vendor images are not available. For most situations, this is the best option for users.
- Reminder: be sure to click on the Save buttons after making final changes, before you continue.

(2) Filter Settings
This section enables the user to design their search, for site visitors to use when shopping on their page for Diamonds. Any changes made to this section will be directly reflected on the site page. All aspects of the Filter are defined in this section.
- ● 1 Order. These up and down arrows allow you to change the Order of the Filters.
- ● 2 Name. This displays the Name of the Filter.
- ● 3 Status [On | Off]. This control enables you to turn the Filter either On or Off.
- ● 4 Filter. This enables you to change the Filter. You can define the start and end of Filter Ranges here, either by entering the “From” and “To” values into the corresponding fields or by dragging the Start and End sliders. You can also add or remove Filters.
- ● 5 Collapsed [On Off]. This control enables you to decide whether or not the Filter can be Collapsed.
- ● 6 Pre Filter. This control enables you to decide whether the Filter should be On or Off on the Pre-Filter page.

(3) Main Information
- ● 1 Page Name. In this field you can enter a descriptive name for your page.
- ● 2 Alias. An alias is a name that comes after the domain name. In this field an alias will be automatically assigned to your page. You are also free to change the alias manually here. You must choose a unique alias for every page. If an identical alias already exists in the system, an error message will result.
- ● 3 GUID. The Global Unique Identifier is a number automatically assigned to every page. It can’t be changed.
- ● 4 Start Date. In this field, you can enter a Start Date for your Diamond Search Page. This is useful, for example, when considering time-specific pages like Holiday Specials.
- ● 5 End Date. In this field, you can enter an End Date for your Diamond Search Page. This is useful, for example, when considering time-specific pages like Holiday Specials.
- Reminder: be sure to click on the Save buttons after making final changes, before you continue.
Now that you have entered the desired values into Main Information, you can move on to the next section of the screen (SEO).
(4) SEO
This section will cover information for your page’s SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
SEO. These fields enable you to customize the SEO Content of your page.
- ● 1 Title. In this field, enter a Title. This is what is used to identify your Page in the back end of the Build CMS.
- ● 2 Meta Title. In this field, enter a Meta Title. This is what the search engine displays in its results and in tabs when linking to your Page.
- ● 3 Meta Keywords. In this field, enter Meta Keywords for your Page. This is a type of Tag that labels your site’s content on a basic level for search engine crawling.
- ● 4 Meta Description. In this field, enter a Meta Description for your Page. This is a short description that will be used as a Tag to label your site accurately for search engines.
- ● 5 Canonical. In this field, enter a Canonical URL for your Page. This will be used by search engines to represent the definitive version of multiple pages with similar content.
- ● 6 Thumbnail. In this field, a Thumbnail of your chosen Image will be displayed.
- Browse. Click this button to Browse for an image to be used for SEO purposes.
- ● 7 Alt Text. In this field, enter Alt Text to describe your Image.
- ● 8 Page Content. This section includes three buttons, each that opens an Editor screen to create different type of Content.
- Above the Page Content. This button opens an Editor enabling you to design Above the Page Content. This Content will appear at the top of the Page.
- Below the Page Content. This button opens an Editor enabling you to design Below the Page Content. This Content will appear at the bottom of the Page.
- Structured Content. This button opens an Editor enabling you to design Structured Content that can be positioned in Rows and Structured along with Images.
- ● Reminder: be sure to click on the Save buttons after making final changes, before you continue.
Now that you have entered the desired values into SEO and Page Content, you can move on to the next section of the screen (Keyword Search).
(5) Keyword Search / Group Settings
- ● 1 Keywords. In this field, you can enter Keywords that will be associated with your page, for Search and Filter functions.
- ● 2 Browse. In this section, you can click on Browse to select an Image. The image will display as a Thumbnail in the above window.
- ● 3 Alt Text. In this field, you can enter Alt Text which describes the image. This is required of all images in compliance with ADA standards. Alt Text assists those with vision disabilities by reading out loud the description of an image.
- ● 4 Group Settings. In this section, you can Assign Groups. To set up Groups, refer to the Groups module.
- Groups [Assign Groups]. Click on this field to reveal a dropdown menu from which you can select a Group to apply this Page to.
