You can access this page by clicking on Pages from the main menu, and Page Builders from the dropdown menu. Then select the Blog Page Builder module from the available builders.
Blog Page Builder Fundamental
In this section, you will learn how to use the Blog Page Builder module. This is our versatile, content-building software that allows you to easily and efficiently create your own Blog Pages.
Here is an example of a page made using our Blog Page Builder:
Now that you have learned the fundamentals and seen an example of the end result, we will walk you through the steps for how to use our Blog Page Builder.
- ● 1 Blog Page Builder. This module allows you to build a blog page using our custom interface.
- ● 2 Page name. In this field, enter a page name for the page you would like to build using the Blog Page Builder.
- ● 3 Add Page. Click here when you are ready to begin. The following dialog box will appear.
- ● 1 Manage Page. Click here to open the Blog Page Builder application and continue with the process of creating your page.
Blog Page Builder
- ● At the top of the Blog Page Builder landing page, the Title you entered in the previous window will be displayed as Edit - Title.
The Blog Page Builder is then split into six sections that will be covered in the guide below:

- ● 3 Main Information
- ● 4 SEO
- ● 5 Keyword Search / Group Settings
(1) Page Content
In the top right corner of the screen, you can turn this Blog Page On or Off, you can View Page, or you can click Help ? to access the user manual for this module.
- ● 1 Page Content. This section allows you to configure your Blog Page Content.
- Select Design. This dropdown menu enables you to choose which Design to use for your Blog Page. There are two blog designs available:
- ● 2 Blogs Per Page. In this field, you can enter the number of Blogs Per Page that you want to appear on your website.

- ● Reminder: be sure to click on the Save button after making final changes, before you continue to the next section.
Now that you have familiarized yourself with Page Content, you can move down to the next section of the screen (Add New Blog / Editor).
(2) Add New Blog
This section allows you to Add New Blog. This involves using the Blog Page Builder to create a blog page from scratch. You can also view and organize any blog posts you have already added.
- ● 1 Add New Blog. Click on this to bring up a new screen.
This screen will now be covered in different sections. At the top right of the screen, click the On or Off button to activate or deactivate the Blog.
- ● Note: underlined red asterisks (*) indicate required fields.
- ● 1 Blog Title *. In this field, you must enter a Title for your Blog.
- ● 2 In this row, you will find three required fields as part of Adding Your Blog.
- Date Format *. In this field, you must enter a Date for your Blog.
- Add this blog to a page *. In this field, you must click the dropdown to select the Page you want to add this Blog to. The default Page is Blog.
- Schema Type *. In this field, you must click the dropdown to select a Schema Type. This refers to a sub-category within Blogs, which includes News, Event in Store, Online Event, and Online/In-store Event. This enables you to further differentiate the type of Blog that you are Adding. The default Schema Type is Blog.
- Location. If you select an Event as the Schema Type, you will be required to also select the Location of the Event.
- ● 3 Caption. In this field, you must enter a Caption for your Blog.
- ● 4 Caption Image [Browse]. In this field, you may select a Caption Image for your Blog.
- ● 5 Caption Image Title. In this field, you may enter a Caption Image Title for your Blog.
- ● 6 Caption Image Alt Text. In this section, you may enter Caption Image Alt Text (to meet ADA Compliance).
- ● 1 Body. In this section you will create the Body of your blog page. This built-in editor offers you extensive, standardized options for formatting and designing your page.
- ● 2 [Tinymce | Page Builder]. This setting enables you to switch between the Tinymce Editor shown below and the Page Builder. The Page Builder can be utilized for more elaborate Blog designs, whereas the Tinymce version should be sufficient for most Blogs.
- ● 1 Meta Title. In this field, you may enter a Meta Title, which is what the search engine displays in its results and in tabs when linking to your page.
- ● 2 Meta Keywords. In this field, you may enter Meta Keywords, which is a type of Tag that labels your Blog content on a basic level for search engine crawling.
- ● 3 Start Date. In this field, you can enter a Start Date for your Blog. This is useful, for example, when considering time-specific pages like Holiday Specials.
- ● 4 Meta Description. This is a short description that will be used as a Tag to label your site accurately for search engines
- ● 5 URI Alias *. In this field, you must enter a URI Alias. This is a name that comes after the domain name. You must choose a unique alias for every page. If an identical alias already exists in the system, an error message will result.
- ● 6 End Date. In this field, you can enter an End Date for your Blog. This is useful, for example, when considering time-specific pages like Holiday Specials.
Before returning to the previous Edit Blog screen, be sure to click the Save button to ensure your settings have been updated.
(3) Main Information
In this section, you will enter important Main Information that applies to your Blog Page.
- ● 1 Page Name *. In this field, you must enter a Page Name for your Blog Page.
- ● 2 Alias. This is a name that comes after the domain name. In this field, an alias will be automatically assigned to your page. You are also free to change the alias manually here. You must choose a unique alias for every page. If an identical alias already exists in the system, an error message will result.
- ● 3 GUID. The Global Unique Identifier is a number automatically assigned to every page. It can’t be changed.
- ● 4 Start Date. In this field, you can enter a Start Date for your Blog Page. This is useful, for example, when considering time-specific pages like Holiday Specials.
- ● 5 End Date. In this field, you can enter an End Date for your Blog Page. This is useful, for example, when considering time-specific pages like Holiday Specials.
- ● Reminder: be sure to click on the Save buttons after making final changes, before you continue.
Now that you have entered the desired values into Main Information, you can move on to the next section of the screen (SEO).
(4) SEO
This section will cover information for your page’s SEO (Search Engine Optimization).
SEO. These fields enable you to customize the SEO Content of your page.
- ● 1 Title. In this field, enter a Title. This is what is used to identify your Page in the back end of the Build CMS.
- ● 2 Meta Title. In this field, enter a Meta Title. This is what the search engine displays in its results and in tabs when linking to your Page.
- ● 3 Meta Keywords. In this field, enter Meta Keywords for your Page. This is a type of Tag that labels your site’s content on a basic level for search engine crawling.
- ● 4 Meta Description. In this field, enter a Meta Description for your Page. This is a short description that will be used as a Tag to label your site accurately for search engines.
- ● 5 Canonical. In this field, enter a Canonical URL for your Page. This will be used by search engines to represent the definitive version of multiple pages with similar content.
- ● 6 Thumbnail. In this field, a Thumbnail of your chosen Image will be displayed.
- Browse. Click this button to Browse for an image to be used for SEO purposes.
- ● 7 Alt Text. In this field, enter Alt Text to describe your Image.
- ● Reminder: be sure to click on the Save buttons after making final changes, before you continue.
Now that you have entered the desired values into SEO, you can move on to the next section of the screen (Keyword Search).
(5) Keyword Search
- ● 1 Keywords. In this field, you can enter Keywords that will be associated with your page, for Search and Filter functions.
- ● 2 Browse. In this section, you can click on Browse to select an Image. The image will display as a Thumbnail in the above window.
- ● 3 Alt Text. In this field, you can enter Alt Text which describes the image. This is required of all images in compliance with ADA standards. Alt Text assists those with vision disabilities by reading out loud the description of an image.
- ● 4 Group Settings. In this section, you can Assign Groups. To set up Groups, refer to the Groups module.
- Groups [Assign Groups]. Click on this field to reveal a dropdown menu from which you can select a Group to apply this Page to.
- ● Reminder: be sure to click on the Save buttons after making final changes, before you continue.
