You can access this page by clicking on Settings from the main menu, and SMTP Manager from the dropdown menu.
SMTP Manager Fundamental
In this module, you will learn how to use SMTP Manager. SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. SMTP settings for your website grant Build’s server permission to send out automated emails from your external email address’s server. This also overrides Spam and Junk Mail filters.

SMTP Manager
This screen allows you to Manage your SMTP settings. You can view, add, edit, and otherwise manage SMTPs in your system.
- ● 1 Columns. These columns display information about SMTP.
- Host. This column displays the Host for the SMTP.
- Port. This column displays the Port for the SMTP.
- Username. This column displays the Username for the SMTP.
- Secure. This column displays whether or not the SMTP is Secure.
- Actions. This column displays icons allowing you to Edit or Delete the SMTP.
- ● 2 Search. In this field, you can enter Search criteria for your SMTP.
- ● 3 Add SMTP. Click this button to bring up a new screen to Add SMTP.

Add SMTP
This screen enables you to Add SMTP settings. In this section, you will need to retrieve SMTP credentials from your email account and input them into these fields.
- ● 1 SMTP credentials. In the following fields, enter your SMTP credentials from your email account.
- Host. In this field, enter your email Host e.g. Gmail, GoDaddy, or Outlook.
- Port. In this field, enter the Port of your email address.
- Username. In this field, enter your email account Username.
- Password. In this field, enter your email account Password.
- Secure [TLS | SSL]. In this field, select the Secure setting.
- SSL. This Secure setting stands for Security Sockets Layer (SSL).
- TSL. This Secure setting stands for Transport Layer Security (SSL).
- Test. Click this button to initiate a Test using the above values.
- Save Credentials. Click this button to Save Credentials you have entered, and activate them on your website.
- ● 2 Testing result. This window will display the Testing result based on the values you have entered.
