You can access this page by clicking on Settings from the main menu, and Material Icons from the dropdown menu.
Material Icons Fundamental
In this module, you will learn how to use Material Icons. Material Icons provide a visual method for customers to view and select different Material options for their products, as an alternative to the standard text.
Now that you have learned about the Material Icons Fundamental, please continue to the next section of the guide, covering Material Icons - Main Screen.
Material Icons - Main Screen
From this screen, you can configure all settings related to Material Icons. In this section, you will find each portion of the screen explained for clarity.
- 1 Show Materials Without Icons | Add Material Icon. These two buttons enable you to set up your Material Icons.
- Show Materials Without Icons. Click this button to see all of the Materials available that do not include Icons.
- Add Material Icon. Click this button to bring up a screen that enables you to Add Material Icon. Here, you will be required to enter the Material Name *, Material Icon *, Materials 1 *, and may also enter Materials 2 and Materials 3.
- 2 Show entries. Click this dropdown to select how many Material Icons entries to show in the table below.
- 3 Search. This Search field enables you to enter Search terms for Material Icons entries.
- 4 Columns. These columns contain information regarding Material Icons.
- Icon. This column displays a graphic of the Icon that applies to the given Material.
- Material Name. This column displays the Material Name.
- Materials 1. This column lists the Materials in category 1.
- Materials 2. This column lists the Materials in category 2.
- Materials 3. This column lists the Materials in category 3.
- Actions [Edit | Delete]. Click Edit to open a screen that allows you to Update Material Icon. Click Delete to remove the entry for a given Material Icon.
Update Material Icon
Follow 4 in the screen above, and find the Actions column. Click Edit to open up the following screen.
- 1 Material Name *. In this field, you must enter a Material Name.
- 2 Material Icon *. In this field, you must click the space to browse for an Image to be used as your Material Icon.
- 3 Materials 1 *. In this field, you must include Materials from category 1.
- 4 Materials 2. In this field, you must include Materials from category 2.
- 5 Materials 3. In this field, you may include Materials from category 3.
After you have completed the previous fields, click Save to return to the previous screen.
