This section of the guide will cover the Payment Method - Acima. You can access this page by clicking on Shopping Cart from your main menu and then clicking Payment Methods from the dropdown menu.

Payment Methods - Acima Fundamental

Acima Leasing is a payment method that allows Lease-to-Own financing options. Acima Ecom plugins allow you to install and enable Acima. Customers who choose Acima during checkout will initiate an iframe that loads the Acima app, which is used to qualify the customer and then provide the steps for completing a lease.

This module enables you to set up the Acima Payment Method, which customers can use from your website’s checkout.

This guide will be separated into three sections for configuring the Acima Payment Method.

• ● 1 Create Acima Account. In this step, you will sign up for an Acima Account. You must have an account with Acima so that you can link it to your Build CMS Account.

• ● 2 Acquire Acima Credentials. In this step, you will receive the necessary credentials from the Acima team to set up the integration of this payment method with your website.

• ● 3 Acima Setup in Build CMS. In this step, you will enter your credentials into the Build CMS to complete your integration with Acima.

Once you have completed all of these steps, Acima will be available as a Payment Method from your website’s checkout. Now that you have learned the fundamental ideas, you can continue with the first section (Create Acima Account).

(1) Create Acima Account

To sign up for an account with Acima, you should reach out to the Acima team directly. Let them know you would like to open an account with them for your business.

After you have finished creating your account, you can move on to the next section (Acquire Acima Credentials).

(2) Acquire Acima Credentials

In this step, you must receive the credentials from Acima so that you can enter these into the Build CMS. There are two necessary credentials that the Acima Team will provide to you. You must contact Acima in order to receive the following:

• ● 1. API Key.

• ● 2. Merchant ID.

After you have received the above credentials from the Acima Team, you can move on to the next section (Acima Setup in Build CMS).

(3) Acima Setup in Build CMS

Navigate to Shopping Cart and click Payment Methods from the dropdown. From there, navigate to Payment Methods - Acima by selecting Acima from the menu. You will now enter the credentials you have gathered from your Acima Account, to complete the process of syncing your Build CMS Account with your Acima Account.

• ● 1 API Key. In this field, you must enter the API Key identified with your Acima Account.

• ● 2 Merchant ID.  In this field, you must enter the Merchant ID identified with your Acima Account.

• ● URL. This field will display the URL https://ecom.sandbox.acimaredit.com/ as default and should not be changed.

• ● Sandbox [Enable]. This box should be checked if this Payment Method is in development or staging.

• ● Save. Click here to Save all fields in this section.

Once you have entered the above keys, make sure to click the Save button. You have now completed the process of setting up the Acima Payment Method.
