Breadcrumb path: Shopping Cart / Payment Methods / Google Pay
Note: in order to implement Google Pay, an authorize.net gateway account must be created and connected to Build. Please follow these instructions to set up authorize.net.
This section of the guide will cover the Payment Method - Google Pay. You can access this page by clicking on Shopping Cart from your main menu and then clicking Payment Methods from the dropdown menu.
Payment Methods - Google Pay Fundamental
In this section, you will learn to use the Payment Methods - Google Pay module. This module enables you to set up the Google Pay Payment Method, which customers can use from your website’s checkout.
This guide will be separated into three sections for configuring the Google Pay Payment Method.
- ● 1. Set Up Google Pay Account. In this step, you will create a Google Pay Account from the Google website and will then have your business profile approved by Google.
- ● 2. Enable Google Pay in your Authorize.net Account. In this step, you will prepare your Authorize.net account to receive payments from your Google Pay Account.
- ● 3. Google Pay Integration and Build CMS Setup. In this step, you will submit your site for Google Pay integration. You will also set up your Google Pay Account within the Build CMS.
Once you have completed all of these steps, Google Pay will be available as a Payment Method from your website’s checkout. Now that you have learned the fundamental ideas, you can continue with the first section (Google Pay Account).
