Shopping Cart - Settings Fundamental

In this section, you will learn about the Shopping Cart - Settings module. This module enables you to turn the Shopping Cart Page either On or Off. This also controls whether the Add to Cart button is enabled or disabled.

This module also allows you to edit and Update the Countries in your Shopping Cart system. Adding Countries is a necessary step for applying other Settings modules in Shopping Cart.

Shopping Cart - Settings

• 1 Shopping Cart Page

  Shopping Cart Page [On | Off]: This setting controls whether the Shopping Cart Page is turned On or Off (front-end example). It also controls whether the Add to Cart button is displayed (front-end example).

• 2 Countries

  Countries: In this field, you can click to display a dropdown menu including a list of all Countries. After a country is selected from the list, it will be added to the field. Click the red “x” on the left side of the box to delete a Country.

  Default Option: In this field, you can select which Country will be the Default Country selected in the Country drop-downs when customers are entering their billing and shipping information in the shopping cart. 

  • ● Update. Click this button to save the Countries displayed in the field.

• 3 Coupon

  Coupons: In this field, you can choose to display the coupon field on the front-end of the shopping cart. You can turn Coupons either [On | Off].
  

• 4 Free Resizing Fee for Items with Warranty

  Free Resizing Fee for Items with Warranty: In this field, you can choose whether the resizing fee is free when a warranty is added to a product. This can be turned [On | Off].

• 5 Giftcards

  Giftcards: In this field, you can choose to display the gift card field on the front-end of the shopping cart. You can turn Giftcards either [On | Off]. 

• 6 Default Method

  Default Method: In this field, the user can choose the default method by which the customer obtains the item. The Default Method will be pre-selected on the item page.

  

  • Pickup: The default method will be in-store pickup. 
  • Shipping: The default method will be shipping. 
  • Local Delivery: The default method will be Local Delivery.
