Diamond Inquiries Fundamental
In this module, you will learn how to Manage Inquiries - Diamond Inquiries. Diamond Inquiries are individual requests sent by your site visitors asking for more information about a Diamond. In this section, you will be able to View, Edit, and Delete any Diamond Inquiries.
Here is an example of a Diamond Page and the Inquiry Button that your site visitors will have access to in order to send Inquiries into the Manage Inquiries - Diamond Inquiries section.
When a site visitor clicks on the Diamond Inquiry (“Request Info”) Button another window will pop up with an Inquiry Form for them to fill out (as shown here):
- ● 1 First Name*. In this field, the site visitor must enter a First Name to be identified with the Diamond Inquiry.
- ● 2 Last Name* . In this field, the site visitor must enter a Last Name to be identified with the Diamond Inquiry.
- ● 3 Phone Number*. In this field, the site visitor must enter a Phone Number to be identified with the Diamond Inquiry.
- ● 4 Email Address*. In this field, the site visitor must enter an Email Address to be identified with the Diamond Inquiry.
- ● 5 Message. In this field, the site visitor may enter a Message (or additional comments) to be identified with the Diamond Inquiry.
After a site visitor completes a Diamond Inquiry, it will be listed on the Manage Inquires - Diamond Inquiries page, as seen below:
From this screen you can Manage Inquiries - Diamond Inquiries that have been created by your site visitors. From this screen you can Manage Inquiries - Diamond Inquiries that have been created by your site visitors.
- ● 1 Customize Columns | Download | Search.
- Customize Columns. This button enables you to activate or deactivate the Columns to be displayed on this screen. Click the arrow to reveal a menu that allows you to toggle Columns on or off. The full list of Columns is as follows:
- Id, Diamond Title, Date, Time, Image, Guid, First Name, Last Name, Phone, Email, Address, City, State, Zip, Country, Ip Address, Restore visibility.
- Download. This button enables you to Download your Diamond Inquiries in PDF, Excel, CSV (Comma-Separated Values), or JSON format.
- Search. This field enables you to Search for Diamond Inquiries currently in your database.
- ● 2 Columns. In this area you will find a number of Columns displaying information about your Diamond Inquiries. Clicking on the up or down arrow icon next to each column title will sort by ascending or descending order.
- Diamond Title. This column displays the Diamond Title for the corresponding Diamond Inquiry.
- Date. This column displays the Date that the Diamond Inquiry was made.
- Image. This column displays a thumbnail Image of the Diamond for the corresponding Diamond Inquiry.
- Guid. This column displays the GUID (Global Unique Identifier).
- First Name | Last Name. These columns display the First and Last Name of the inquirer.
- Phone. This column displays the Phone number of the inquirer.
- Email. This column displays the Email address of the inquirer.
- IP Address. This column displays the IP Address of the inquirer.
- Actions [Edit | Delete]. These two icons allow you to Edit or Delete the Diamond Inquiry.
- ● 3 Number of new inquiries will be shown in this column (for each type of Inquiry page). As soon as the Manage Inquiries screen is visited for the corresponding Inquiries, that number will reset.
Now that you have learned about the Columns, go to the Actions column on the far right, and click the green Edit button to open the Inquiry screen for a given entry.
- ● 1 [Resend Client Auto Email | Resend Internal Auto Email | Mark as Unread]. In this section of the screen, you will find buttons that apply to Auto Emails.
- Resend Client Auto Email. Click this button to Resend Client Auto Email.
- Resend Internal Auto Email. Click this button to Resend Internal Auto Email.
- Mark as Unread. Click this button to Mark as Unread.
- ● 2 Inquiry Fields. In this section, you will find information that has been provided by the Inquiry.
- Title. In this field, the Title of the Diamond is displayed.
- Guid. In this field, the Guid of the Diamond is displayed.
- First Name. In this field, the First Name of the inquirer is displayed.
- Last Name. In this field, the Last Name of the inquirer is displayed.
- Phone. In this field, the Phone number of the inquirer is displayed.
- Email. In this field, the Email address of the inquirer is displayed.
- Comments. In this field, Comments from the inquirer are displayed.
- Form Submission Date. In this field, the Form Submission Date for the inquiry is displayed.
- Form Submission Time. In this field, the Form Submission Time for the inquiry is displayed.
- Ip Address. In this field, the IP address of the inquirer is displayed.
- ● 3 Custom Fields. In this section, you will find Custom Fields for your Diamond Inquiry.
- G-recaptcha-response. In this field, the G-recaptcha-response for the Diamond Inquiry is displayed.
- Image. In this field, the Image filepath for the Diamond is displayed.
- ● 4 Comments. In this section, you can enter Comments for this Diamond Inquiry.
- New Comment. In this field, enter a New Comment and click Save.
