Manage Inquiries - CCPA Inquiries Fundamental
In accordance with the CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act), Build provides a CCPA Inquiry Form that allows your site visitors to communicate to you how they would like you to manage their private information.
In this module you will learn how to Manage Inquiries - CCPA Inquiries. CCPA Inquiries are individual requests sent by your site visitors regarding how you handle their private information. In this section, you will be able to View, Edit, and Delete any CCPA Inquiries.
Here is an example of the CCPA Form that your site visitors will have access to in order to send Inquiries into the Manage Inquiries - CCPA Inquiries section.
- ● 1 First Name*. In this field, the site visitor must enter a First Name to be identified with the CCPA Inquiry.
- ● 2 Last Name* . In this field, the site visitor must enter a Last Name to be identified with the CCPA Inquiry.
- ● 3 Your Email*. In this field, the site visitor must enter an Email Address to be identified with the CCPA Inquiry.
- ● 4 Request Details. In this field, the site visitor may enter a Message (or additional comments) to be identified with the CCPA Inquiry.
After a site visitor completes a CCPA Inquiry, it will be listed on the Manage Inquiries - CCPA Inquiries page, as seen below:
From this screen you can Manage Inquiries - CCPA Inquiries that have been created by your site visitors.
- ● 1 Choose Columns | CSV. In this area you will find two buttons related to CCPA Inquiries:
- Choose Columns. This button enables you to activate or deactivate the Columns to be displayed on this screen.
- CSV. This button enables you to download your CCPA Inquiries in CSV (Comma-Separated Values) format.
- ● 2 Search. This field enables you to Search for CCPA Inquiries currently in your database.
- ● 3 Columns. In this area, you will find a number of Columns displaying information about your CCPA Inquiries. Clicking on the up or down arrow icon next to each column title will sort by ascending or descending order.
- Title. This column displays the Title of the CCPA Inquiry.
- Guid. This column displays the GUID of the CCPA Inquiry.
- Date. This column displays the Date that the CCPA Inquiry was made.
- Ip Address. This column displays the IP Address of the site visitor who made the CCPA Inquiry.
- First Name | Last Name. These columns display the First Name and Last Name of the site visitor who made the CCPA Inquiry.
- Email. This column displays the Email of the site visitor who made the CCPA Inquiry.
- Comments. This column displays any Comments associated with the CCPA Inquiry.
- Actions [Edit | Delete]. This column displays two icons that allow you to Edit or Delete the CCPA Inquiry.
- ● 4 Number of new inquiries will be shown in this column (for each type of Inquiry page). As soon as the Manage Inquiries screen is visited for the corresponding Inquiries, that number will reset.
